Rosemary J. Coombe is the Tier One Canadian Research Chair in Law, Communication and Culture at York University (2001-2022).
Her work addresses the cultural, political, and social implications of intellectual property laws, cultural heritage protection and the politicization of cultural properties.
She has recently been working on issues pertaining to intellectual property, informational capital, and accumulation by dispossession.
